My name is Amina Odukoya, a Nigerian born (budding) writer based in the United Kingdom.
I have been blogging on and off for more than 7 years. I first started writing when I realised it was a way for me to unleash my innermost thoughts. It gives me this feeling of being liberated and also creates an avenue for me to be able to share my views with a larger audience.
“We love the things we love for what they are – Robert Frost”
Each post is based on random moments of my thoughts and life reflections. I draw inspiration from things in my enviroment – my family, the weather, current global issues and things like that!
“One must give himself completely to his art and not hold back. Throw caution to the wind, embrace your muse and make love to your art – Harley King”
So, walk with me on this journey while exploring my innermost thoughts as I express them with words….

You have such a stunning blog. I’m so glad that the WP commenting bootcamp led me here.
As an expat who also lives far from home, I feel we have a lot in common. Really enjoy your writing style and I will definitely be back to read some more 🙂

Enjoyed reading your About Page. Now I feel more acquainted with you. What a cool image to the side here. I love clear and precise writing. You’ve practiced your art, and it shows!
I’ve heard it said that: “Practice Makes Permanent,” so I hope you continue to grow your literary talents. It’s clear to me you can make a difference!
