It’s my birthday today and this year has been particularly hard(er) for me than usual. I’ve spent most of the year pondering on what could have been – forgetting about what I have and what I’ve been blessed with.
Today I woke up with such joy in my heart – extremely grateful for my support system (a.k.a hubby and son). I really don’t know how I would have made it through some days without both of them.
Here’s a little reminder to myself (and anyone out there with conflicting emotions) – there’s so much more to be thankful for.
Let us never know what old age is. Let us know the happiness time brings, not count the years.
